Straight and accurate.
This product is well-made and accurate. The only thing I'd change is the thickness or depth of the plastic head piece. Less is better. In order to ride along the workpiece (which for me is heavy paper), I have to use the edge of the table or counter. The plastic head is always much thicker than the paper. It takes a few extra seconds, but in the end I can always get a staight accurate cut.

Not Square! From end to end on a 36" ... Alvin replaced with new unit.
Not Square! From end to end on a 36" unit it's off by more than an 1/8th. Do not buy!Update on Oct 2017 - the original unit was out of square. I contacted Alvin (found their info on the web) and told them of the problem. Nobody contacted me back, and thought I was out of luck...then just a few days later a new unit came in the mail. It is square, I am happy. Thanks Alvin!!

not as advertised
the information on this product since it is heavy duty. It is not. If you are looking for something that is not flimsy, spend a little more money and get a good product.

Not bad really, just not great
It's OK. The edge is a little rough, appears to be sheared and unfinished otherwise. Not bad really, just not great.

Should stand up to high-schooler abuse
Does the job. Seems to be a right angle and pretty straight.

Good tool
Great for getting a straight cut on wallpaper. I just hope the plastic T end does not come loose. Looks to be tight but only time will tell.
