Wax Necessities Barbero Grooming Steel for Men Film Hard Wax Small Bag 100 Grams 3.5 Ounces

I actually do not like this was compared to the blue one. It is harder to work with and the smell is overwhelming.

This wax is great for nose/ear hair but doesn't really get the job done when it comes to brows. I use this at my salon.

I'm female but I bought a small bag of this wax since I have such strong hair. Today I ran out of my usual Waxness Natural wax that I love, and used this one. To be blunt, it sucks. I used it on my legs and I don't think there's a single instance where it removed nearly all the hair in one pass. Swiping the applicator back and forth on the same area to encase the hair helped only a little. I keep having to either go over spots or tweeze out the leftover hairs. Being that it's marketed as a men's wax, it has a cologne-like scent. The color is a shimmery dark grey, almost black.I'm confused because the ingredients are the same and in the same order, except for the mica and iron oxide added to the Barbero wax for color. It seems like this one is rather soft for a hard wax. I tried warming it in my wax warmer on medium heat and even low heat but it didn't work either way. I tried applying more pressure when putting the wax on and that didn't work either. If I left it on for longer, thinking it could use more drying time, the strip just snapped. After running out of my sample of this wax, I used the Charcoal wax from Waxness and it worked much better!2 stars only because it removed a few more hairs after I swiped the applicator back and forth on the same area before the wax dried, as opposed to swiping in only one direction.
