The Balm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick Affectionate

I LOVE liquid lipsticks from "The Balm". I got "Affectionate" a Gorgous Lilac shade. A great dupe for ABH " Soft Lilac". Its a lot more moisturizing than her lipsticks too..and I like the shade more!! It is also scented like Chocolate Mint, which I love, bc its not too obnoxious, and goes away , once its dried. I dont know why these dont more hype, bc they are GORGEOUS!! I also have "Devoted" and a sampler package #3...and theres not ONE bad one..even the deep red, which is hard to find one that doesnt dry patchy. I buy a lot of cosmetics...and Im impressed!! ❤💜🌸

I love the color and it's not too drying on the lips. IMO it's much more lightweight than Beauty Bakerie's matte lip whips. So that's a plus. My only concern is that there is no proper seal. How do I know if this was not a returned item tried by somebody else? There is no outer seal on the box, there is no seal around the lipstick itself. As far as the consistency, I'm loving it and plan to buy the set soon. Not sure how well this stays but I will write an update when I've used it enough.

It's tough to fight a matte lipstick that doesn't dry out your lip... until now. The trick is to put on a very light coat then let it dry. This will stay on for at least five hours. I love it and will buy all the shades. Excellent product.

I thought I was a regular person. Until I bought this lipstick. Now I realize IM A MOVIE STAR. Seriously. Without it I’m a 4 at best. With this lipstick I’m tipping the scale at a solid 10. Do your loved ones a favor and fix your lips with this.

I ordered this color because it’s discontinued in stores, it’s the best color for me and the product is amazing with a little bit of gloss over, I have lip color for 1/2 a day!

Love the color on this! Once it's dry it doesn't get on your teeth, but you may need to touch up after eating.

I love the look of the product, but it is way too drying on my lips.

I love this lip balm it stays on for hours, although I recommend to moisturize the lips a little because it does dry up the lips. The color is wonderful can apply it for night outs or daily use.
