These are great for my diabetic dog. I can't find any in the pet stores. He really likes them and I like that he can still have treats even though he is on insulin. They are a bit expensive as he goes thru a bag every 2 weeks. But they are worth it!

I don't know how they determined that this is an appropriate treat for diabetic dogs. Just looking at the ingredients list seems to indicate that this is high carb (No listing of carb, protein, fat or fiber content either). And how is Garlic good for dogs? Dandelion and kelp helps diabetes? All I know is that when I gave my dog these treats she started urinating all over the house-just like she was doing when she was first diagnosed. So now I have to start all over monitoring her food and insulin and cleaning pee until I can get her diabetes back under control. I don't recommend these at all. Use at your own risk.
