Much better than that Salty Corned Beef Brisket
This is regular un-salted beef brisket, great for slicing up and cooking on the stove top, you don't have to cook this on the grill or in the oven for hours, and thank God its not salted, I absolutely HATE corned beef brisket, way too salty, luckily this isn't that. I had originally wanted beef slabs when i bought this, but nobody had them at a reasonable price, I was making beef jerky, so I bought these instead, turned out great, just the right size for jerky, all I had to do was lay it flat and slice it into slices. I will say that these do tend to be fatty, so if fat is not your thing, steer clear, but I love a little fat on beef, you can always trim the excess if it just has too much of it for you. If you actually have a butcher near where you live then I suggest going there and getting it that way, but if you live in the city and none are around like me, this is perfect.

Bought many times
I have ordered these cuts of brisket many times. I always buy at least two at a time. Every time cooking them exactly the same together, one turns out tender and moist the other turns out dry and tough. It is interesting how it works. But, they are very flavorful. And more importantly they are the perfect size if you are looking at portions. It is nice to have the option to not buy a giant brisket.

Fine, but small.
It's an alright piece of meat, but even smaller than I thought from the weight and the product photo. I guess great if you're doing barbecue for one.

Ours has been consistently good
We've ordered this several times, most recently two weeks ago. A couple of times we've had to trim the fat a bit, but most of the time there hasn't been any need. Searing the sides in a pan, then eight hours n a slow-cooker with a sliced onion, a can of tomatoes, some brown sugar and spices, and we're good to go.

Good for singles not good for more than 4 people.
The taste is good and texture and everything else you'd want with a great cut of meat; the size is a bit skimpy and that really does matter.

Not as depicted. Low quality. Mostly fat.
The image used with Amazon Fresh is completely deceptive. It shows a file a lien rectangular large beef brisket. What you get is a 1-pound square. I cut at least one third of the way off in fat. One of the briskets had the fat in the center rendering it useless. I cooked them anyway trying to salvage what I could and had to throw one of the two briskets away as it was so marbled that it was disgusting after cooked. I love fat I admire fat I put fat in all my cooking but a brisket that is mostly fat and is fat marbled to where it cannot be rendered out isn't fit for dog food. Additionally if people who reviewed the various specifications show such low marks why does Amazon show it has four to five stars.? Anyway stay away from this locality and deceptive meat

Excellent cut at an incredible price
I like that it's available in one-pound cuts because it fits easily in my Crock Pot Express. It's tender with the right amount of marbling. It's also easy to store in the freezer.

Amazon shoppers are weird.
Buddy who posted the picture of the undercooked brisket, this if for you- Iβm not sure if youβre genes are bad or you thought this was a piece of steak. Brisket is supposed to be cooked for HOURS and even before that you need to render off some of the fat in a pan. Lord, send the rapture already πππ
