Good Stand
I got this stand over the Park Tool PCS-10 because it's aluminum and extends over a foot higher. It's lightweight, came fully assembled, and sets up easily. But the clamp is not as good as the one on the PCS-10 and it sags quite a bit with my ~30 pound bike on it, especially at full extension. The photos show it at full height and at 57", which is the maximum height of the Park. You can see how much it sags compared to the vertical garage door rail. It does clamp tight enough to rotate it 360 degrees, but I wouldn't go anywhere near this stand's 85 pound capacity. The quick releases work well but they work themselves loose frequently and then won't clamp tight. Easily corrected with a screwdriver but annoying. I'll probably put some loctite on them. The clamp works OK but the jaw opening is narrow compared to other stands, not a problem for most bikes but something to be aware of. The warranty on this is only 3 years, compared to lifetime on Park Tool and Performance Bicycle's Spin Doctor stands. The leg bracket is plastic. Other than that everything works smoothly and appears to be of good quality. All in all this is a good stand, I just feel it's not quite as great as all the rave reviews around the internet led me to believe. If I wasn't 6'3" I probably would have gone with the Park PCS-10. This stand is a tradeoff between light weight, height, and ease of use. That makes it not as sturdy as the Park and the clamp isn't as good but it still does the job fine and I really appreciate the extra height.

Holds up my Giant Roam 2, heavy duty stand.
Used with a Giant Roam 2. I wanted to get a nice repair stand for my bike and this seemed like the best one, even though it's a little pricey. It works great and is quite heavy duty, but it's light enough to move around without much trouble. It folds up nice.Adjusting it is as easy as using the tightening knobs. It will attach to the seat post or the cross bar. On my bike, the crossbar is shaped a little funky, which makes it not a great place to hold the bike on the stand. The stand is easier to use with the crossbar mode because you can lift the bike and rest in on the stand while tightening. If using the seat post, you have to hold the bike up while tightening. Once it's tightened, either way seems equally secure. I guess the crossbar could get damaged more easily, so be careful using that.It does let the bike sag a bit when you put it on the stand, but I suppose that's to be expected somewhat because it's an arm holding it out. Once the bike is on the stand, it is secure. I had no concerns of it falling over. It sure does make it easy to remove wheels and do maintenance.

A sturdy, easy to transport stand perfect for the apartment dweller.
I heartily enjoy working on my bike when it's on a stand, and this is an excellent stand if you're an apartment dweller like me. Now that I have a stand, tinkering and fine tuning my bike and my friends' rides is easier than ever. The ease of using this stand is a big part of that.Top features:1. Extremely easy to transport. It's light, sets up easily, breaks down quickly, and has a fairly compact storage profile.2. Clamp. Excellent seat post clamp. It does take a bit of turning to engage the clamp, but once set, it is a solid/non-damaging hold.3. Arm maneuverability. I can rotate my bikes a full 360º (I actually did just to see). It holds position even at 90º, which I thought might be a problem at first. The arm crank is easy to turn and sets a strong clamp on the arm in any position you choose.4. Sturdy. The three leg design makes a wide base that is very stable. I've used it in bike fitting with a rider astride the bike and staying vertical by way of leaning on the stand: no issue.

Great Stand - worth the extra spend!
I purchased this stand a few months ago, but just recently used it to build a new bike from scratch starting with a 64" Surly Ogre frame. The stand performed very well, and was extremely stable. I should state that I'm a novice hobby mechanic and do not have experience with other stands, so I cannot provide a comparative review. However, for me this stand performed at or better than my expectations. During the MTB build I had the stand in every imaginable position. Sometimes just to see how it held up. No matter the position, the pivot and vertical clamping never released as I have heard some stand will do. As for quality I have seen other stands and was not impressed. I hate cheap S#@*t, and this stand is well built using quality materials. The tripod vs. 2-leg base was never a problem and I believe provides a more stable platform. It also packs up nice for storage if one doesn't have the room to leave it setup. I definitely recommend this stand. For me it was worth the extra buck for a quality product.

Worth it.
Strong stand. The wide base makes it stable. Only complaint is that there is no quick way to lock in the bike. You have to hold the bike up and screw the clamp down with the other hand. Would be great if it was just a quick turn to clamp it.

Outstanding piece of equipment !
I bought this stand based on an "Outdoor Gear Lab" review and have used it many times on four different bikes and it works very well, and is about as easy to use as it could be- can't really think of any way to improve it. It is a high-quality and good looking piece of equipment that anyone would be proud to have in their shop. It makes it much, much easier to work on bikes- even with easy things like chain oiling. This is one of those things that is worth the money and you will wonder why you didn't get it sooner. I also got the optional tool tray and that is very handy for small tools and parts.

a outstanding portable bike stand
Needing a portable stand now (snowbird) I went a shopping. ,,, this stand had great reviews.... was this going to be a improvement over my bench mounted bike stand... Right out of the box,no assembly required, I was clamping my bike to this stand to evaluate. Impressive, rock solid base, quality clamps, etc. The review I read, said this stand took top honors 2 years in a row, without any changes to the product. And I can see why. Easy to set up garage or living room and even handles ebikes with ease.

Solid portable stable bike rack.
While many may use this tripod stand to repair their bike, I am simply using it to store my bike off the ground with a cover over it. The structure is solid and stable, and the product is well made. Several independent on-line reviews put this particular stand at the top for functionality, wear and price. I would agree - good bike stand.

Awesome Bike Stand
This is a solidly built bike stand and I am very happy with it. It requires no assembly out of the box and is ready to go. The features are very well though through, and it is highly adjustable. I am glad I chose this over the ParkTools bike stand

Light weight but sturdy packs up quickly.
Light and packs quickly very sturdy, closure to frame or seat post a little finicky.
