Have Pets? Get this!
Yes, this is advertised as a leak-proof drop cloth for painting. However, as a pet owner, I know that there are many of us looking for something like this for other purposes -- to protect our floors from pets who aren't fully toilet trained.I was using another brand of canvas drop cloth that was more expensive than this one but worked beautifully for protecting my floors against urine leakage. When Amazon stopped making the brand I was using I started trying out two or three other alternatives and they all FAILED. They were either too thin, not waterproof or would just slide all over the carpeting when walked on.This drop cloth was a Godsend. Not only is it thick, durable, and waterproof but it's actually cheaper than the other brand I was using. It does tend to soak up urine/spills that are not immediately attended to and leaves a residual stain behind, but it does not appear to be leaking through to the flooring thanks to the Polycoated blue backing. So, if the drop cloth is this good for pet use, imagine how great it will be for painting.

Helpful for dog messes
We have used these to cover the floors while our dog has been having accidents. It might be nice to have a darker color because you can see alllll tracked in dirt. But for now they serve a purpose.

Not perfect...
Best I can find, but not perfect. This product would have gotten 5 stars, except for the fact that the both edges along the 12' length sides are not folded over and stitched, as they are on each of the 4' ends. Looks like they are just cut on a wheel in the manufacturing process. The problem with this "rough" cut, is that it has left a significant amount of canvas fuzz and blue poly particles on the floor after I am done a job and roll up the drop cloth. So...other than the extra 5-10 minutes I need to spend cleaning up the floor afterwards, these drop cloths are still the best I have found.

Good for my use. Didn't use it for paint
I'm using this to cover an ugly homemade outdoor cat house. The waterproof side is bright blue so I'm using it canvas side up. It is actually too narrow so I cut it and sewed it to the size I needed. Keeps the insulating blankets on top of the house dry and helps hold in the heat.

Perfect product, light and easy to use: plastic on one side
We wanted spent high that did not fill the whole room, but a good 4 feet width, something light and not heavy to drag around the room, or even for storage! We could be more happy with this item: light and very effective. It has a blue plastic on one side, and light canvas cloth on the other side (great as it provided a grip on our hardwood floor and didn't slide around once we were painting). The blue plastic was effective, no leakages to other side and we found the width was perfect as it caught all our splatter from using a roller and brush. Much much better than getting those with plastic on both sides. Love it and highly recommend.

Great drop cloth for painting.
Poly coated side ensures paint doesn't go through, and the canvas side (which i use facing up) absorbs the paint drops nicely.

Looks promising.
This is basically a typical canvas drop with a blue poly material laminated to the back. I am skeptical about how it will hold up under washings. The packaging includes a sample of the material riveted to the top (as seen in the picture). I tore the sample in half to see how durable it was and as expected, the cotton canvas did tear after moderate strain. The poly coating tore right along with the canvas, but I was able to grab the edge of the poly and easily pull it off of the canvas. My thoughts about this are that as the canvas stretches under use, particularly under ladders and on stairs, the poly backing will work loose and come apart. We shall see. I will put this drop into service and get back after we have put it through its paces. If the poly holds up, then this is would be an excellent drop since it combines the durability and wash-ability of canvas with a waterproof backing.
