It works but expensive

I was very skeptical when I saw the ad for this product. I have always had pretty thin, baby fine hair. It's my curse. I have never liked my hair and it always looked so thin. So, I cut it into an A-line bob, forever giving up on my dream of long hair. As I approached 50, I noticed markedly more hair in my hands after washing. I saw the ad and thought that I was likely going to be disappointed as I couldn't believe that it would really work. I am here to tell you that after about 9 months of using this, I am growing my hair out! My hair is more plentiful, I am losing less and looks so much thicker! I am actually growing hair in my receding hairline and could not be happier! It's soft, shiny and manageable. Thank you Dr. Shapiro!!

I ordered the kit and have been using it. I haven't been using it long enough to quantify what my results are. I'm leaving a review so I can get more free product. I'm not experiencing any negative effects, so I think I need to use the product longer to see any quantifiable results. It's cool that Shapiro is giving me more free product to find out if it does. That makes a little better value for my purchase.

First, putting product in your hair on the daily leads to more frequent washings. I also don't love what the shampoo and conditioner do for my hair. I stayed with the system for 9 months, but when it came time for my annual hair shed it just fell out like it always does and I had to cut about 6 inches off my length. I won't order it once all my product is used.

I am at my first set of bottles. My hair feels softer yet fuller. I don’t see any new hair growth but I don’t expect it to occur overnight. My scalp feels more nourished and my hair feels less dry. I will give it a try and use it for a couple of months.

I have used Nioxin, with great results, for the past 6 years but wanted to try the Shapiro MD based on a recommendation from my sister. I used the Shapiro for 2 weeks, washing my hair 2 times per week. For whatever reason, I just could not get the shampoo and conditioner completely rinsed out of my hair. I tried everything but it would not come out. After the second week, my hair was very dry and crunchy and full of static but somehow greasy and sticky so I returned it. I had to use a clarifying shampoo to remove all the residue and then went back to using my beloved Nioxin. I know people that love the Shapiro MD and I had high hopes but it did not work for me.

REVISION-Product worked well for about a month and then stopped working. Also, this vendor promised a free product in exchange for a review. I followed the instructions, left a review and sent an email. The email came back to me as undeliverable and the free product never came.I have an autoimmune disorder and my hair has been thinning ever since I was diagnosed. In the shower, I could feel the hair on the back of my legs as it fell off my head. I was losing about 20 per shower. It has only been two weeks and I have already seen a big difference. I am losing maybe 2-3 per shower. This is a huge improvement. I have not seen any new hair growth, but then again I am only two weeks in.The foam is hard to apply for me because I have long hair and it is hard to section it off to apply all over my scalp. Anyone have any ideas for effective application of the foam?I will continue to use the product if only to prevent further hair loss.

My hair has been thinning for several years now. I already have very fine hair and it was getting to be very noticeable. I ordered the Shapiro MD shampoo kit because I had been hearing so much about it lately. I have only been using it for about three weeks now, but from the very first time I used it, I knew this was my new hair care routine. I told my husband that even if I did not get growth back in my thinning areas, I was going to continue using this product because of what it did to my hair's appearance. This shampoo and conditioner are so lightweight and clean feeling. My super fine hair now has body and bounce. The moose is super light and feels good in my hair. I have so much more curl in my hair because there is nothing weighing it down. I am so happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about trying it. After three weeks of use, I am begining to not notice the thining areas in my hair as much. That is so awesome!
