bought for astrophotography, works great on my Sony a300. photo is moon planet alignment from March 2023.

Not a tight fit to the camera and pulls out easily. Seller fulfilled transaction in a timely manner and is not part of my dissatisfaction with the product.

For a wired remote, it works well. With the timer, it has more functionality than most wired remotes I used on my D200. Would like to see a version of this with some more options, like "mirror up" (works with wireless remote, but not wired) and other trigger options like Lightning, motion, etc. Would be willing to pay more for that functionality.

Hesitant to buy and it feels "cheap", it is "cheap" and it works really well. Very happy with it.

This is an excellent intervelometer. Perfectly working on my Panasonic LUMIX S1R. Just a suggestion to new users : “read the instruction manual, don’t rely on your past experience of using other intervelometer.” Do not attempt to find a YouTube guide, just read the booklet once it wont take much time.

It is a nice easy to figure out timer,. I spent more time figuring out my camera settings to use the timer ( it's been awhile ).BTW - that's manual mode, shutter speed on BULB, manual focus.I think the one thing that would have been better is the display lighting, it could have been a little brighter.

This gadget is easy to use. However, the stiffness of the cable at neck of the controller may be prone to damage due to multiple bending.

Item arrived next Day. I used a Polaroid shutter release which is exactly the same apart from the branding and maybe a bit bigger but it gave up in me after many years. But, I was looking for something similar, simple and something that works.The Pholsy shutter release seems to be just that, simple to use, and works well! A shutter release is a must for my seascapes as getting crashing waves at the right time with a 2s timer is a PITA! It's doable but omg, so frustrating 🤣A very welcomed feature on this is that I can switch it off, so I know the battery will last for ages! Btw you will need a couple of AAA batteries!Good material, easy to use, works well.

Nikon’s standard exposure times stop at 30s on my D750 and Z6 so you need something for longer exposures especially for tracked astrophotography. This gadget plugs into the side of the camera and allows you to set the length of the exposure, the time between successive exposures and how many shots you want (for stacking or just to get backups) Just set the camera intoBulb mode and the Pholsy acts as the intervalometer. There is a warning beep countdown before shots which I found helpful. A head torch to assist plugging it in in the dark helps.

Product described as ‘durable’ in the description but, here we are,13 months from purchase and the product has failed !! Shame since, while it worked, it was great. The manual shutter release has ceased to function leaving just timed exposures available. Do I have a right to refund/repair/replacement under a ‘fit for purpose’ clause ?

This is a perfect remote for my Canon 850D.I had conflicting answers whether this would work or not but after purchase can happily say it is ideal.Want to use it mainly for astrophotography and this has various functions for me to use.
