Battery died quickly
I purchased one of these for my son in June 2018 for my mildly disabled son to use. He is 235 pounds, and his commute is 4.5 miles of level paved street each way about three times a week. We were very happy with the scooter at first; it seemed well-built and he loved it. Trouble is, in mid-September and just about a week out of warrantee the supplied NiCad battery is dying. It makes it to work (where a charging outlet is not available,) but it can't carry him home. A new more worthy lithium-ion battery costs $550, more than the stupid scooter. If the seller were honest, they would sell this scooter with a better battery and try to compete at an $900 price-point. As is, I would not purchase a Turbo-1000 again from ANY seller whatsoever.

Doesn't go uphill
My bf bought this to ride to work but it's super slow and doesn't go uphill at all. I tried to.see if i was charging it wrong but nope, doesn't work. This scooter is only good for a straight road and might go up to 35mph.

Super fun. Reliable .
This thing is super fast and the battery life is amazing i commute to work on this scooter at night . My job is about 4 miles away i usually get there in 10 minutes while having lots of fun .i had mine for about 3 weeks now with no issues . The LED light could be a lot brighter . I was forced to buy an aftermarket bicycle light And the speedometer doesn't light up at night it kinda seems cheap to me the could improve a lot on those things . Anyways that doesn't stop mr from giving it 5 starts

Doesn’t go as fast as advertised. Might give you a head wound when you fold it.
The Bad:The scooter does NOT go 30-35mph ... not even close . On flat ground maximum speed I was getting 27km per hour ... that’s KM ! I wonder if seller is mistakenly marking Miles per hour instead of Kilometers per hour ?! Even so it doesn’t even go 30km per hour... maybe I got a defective unit ? I weigh 180 pounds ...Besides the speed issue. The scooter is definitely not designed for someone my height 6’2” ... standing on the scooter is pretty awkward. Also i was bleeding pretty good out of my temple the other day and should gone to get stitches as the scooter bashed my head as I was bent down to fold it. It has a latch that is spring loaded! So when you bend down to pull the latch , which needs some force , the hand bars will shoot downwards with force. I was pretty shocked that it bashed me so hard. Gave me a deep head wound :/The Good:Build quality feels solid. Very heavy. Build from steel. Has a speedometer and is pretty quiet.I can definitely see this scooter being a daily driver for someone who is not taller than 5’11” and lives in an area that has gravel roads and uneven terrain to justify the tippiness that you get from being up in 14” wheels and a tall platform.Just watch out when you are folding the thing! It can be dangerous!
