Go ahead and save your money, and please don't purchase this disgrace of a watch. Unreadable as many have commented. You can't read anything sitting in a lamp lit room. Even in lighted area, it's like staring into a dark abyss trying to decipher your future. Backlight? Not very existent. Like a G shock? Haha. That's absurd. I've bought $5 watches at Walmart that have been waaaaay better than this piece of junk. Luckily, I only bought this to give to kids, but I still wish I would've just went to Walmart and got one of the much better $5 watches instead. Sure I could return it, but waited long enough to get this one, and the kids use it as a toy anyways.

I normally don't right A review, But I two of these watches for the price. I am like cool. The watch look good in the pictures. So I bought two. So if broke one. I have A nether one to wear. But when I got them. The clock face that shows the and date was too dim. At first I thought it was the battery was weak. The first watch box I opened. So I opened up the second watch box. And it was the same as the first watch, The clock face that shows the time and date. Was too dim and hard to read. So they will be going in garbage. They are two pieces of JUNK! So if anyone is looking at to buying this brand of watch. It maybe be cheap in price, But the watch quality is also cheap. Waste of money! DO NOT BUY! Save your money!

It's an inexpensive watch. While the face is black(I didn't really mind that so much) it was very difficult to read. Unless you had a light to shine on the face just right. So that means you need the backlight to work. I had to light a match just to see if the backlight was working. I ended up removing the band from the watch, trimming it a bit and made it fit my old watch whose band had broken. Why didn't I just by a band? Same price as this watch.

Is this a G-Shock? No. That being said, I couldn’t be happier with this watch. I own G-Shocks and obviously this isn’t one but for $12?! You can’t beat it. This is a very large watch which I like and the display is easy to read. It looks pretty close to a G-Shock. This is my “take a beating” watch and so far it has held up great.

I was very disappointed upon receipt of this watch the portion where the time is displayed is too small and doeswork in proportion to the case size I would not recommend this model to future consumers of this product

Great watch! Why pay over a hundred dollars for a G-SHOCK, when you can get something like this. Im pretty hard on watches and I have purchased many of this brand and they all stay strong.

The backlight is very dim and even the light up display is very dim. Certain levels of ambient light, you can't see at all.Time keeping is accurate though and it's durable which is saying something because I'm hard on watches.

I reached in to my pool for less then 10 seconds to grab out the filter and poof donezo I have lots of these watches because I like there look and they usually hold up well with vibration from range shooting with rifles and pistols to lifting at the gym but this orange one I got did not do well

The watch was scratched all over the face as soon as I received it. I got it a while ago, but didn’t open it until just last week. The face is covered in scratches. The watch even came with the protective film covering the face. There is no way in wearing the watch twice, that I scratched the fave to this degree. Very disappointing, the watch otherwise is fantastic, this is the 3rd SMAEL watch I have purchased, and this is the only one with this issue.

I normally don't write reviews but I wanted to warn people that this watch is not particularly good.Firstly you can't read the display in normal lighting. This simple issue in my option renders the watch useless.Other than that it's pretty cheaply made, and not as good as the picture makes out.I returned mine straight away and brought a different model for more money.

I ordered this watch for the army and I didn't want to spend 200$+ on a military watch, so I decided to give this a try. I was expecting to buy multiple ones a year seeing the price tag because I knew it wouldn't last long, but I was wrong.I've been using this watch for almost a year and it still works perfectly. I have been in all kinds of weather: from minus 45 celcius in the snow, to really heavy rain in the swamp.This is my new favorite watch and I can't go out without it whether it is in civilian life or military life.

Beautiful design, the only thing not included were instructions on button functions to quickly set it up. The digital numbers are a little hard to see because they aren't lit up so I must use the backlight to see more easily though.
