These are all bit as high quality as Madden or comparable dress shoe brands. I wear dress shoes to work every day so I go through a lot of different ones in a year. These are one of the best values I have found so far. The insole is padded enough to not give me heel pain and the soles are not as clackety as some higher end designer labels. Just enough style and class without being too fussy or making you look too trendy. I also think the sole riser material does not look cheap as ones in this pricepoint. The leather seems higher quality then similarly priced shoes. The tans and browns will require you to get two shades of polish due to the painted darker tip when compared to the body. The polish keeps them looking new a lot longer. I have bought four pairs of these two on dark brown and one each of tan and black. This might souund like I have a shoe problem and I just might be in denial about it.

I usually wear size 12, I ordered previously different brand shoe in size 12, and it was kinda tight, so now I placed the order with this shoe in size 13. It arrived today, packed nicely, but they fit true to size, which means that they are a bit bigger, just as size 13 should be. So, with that been said - order the size you usually wear, they fit true to size. Hoping it will help others. But shoe itself - looks beautiful, feels nice and in great quality. Highly recommend. I bought these for my husband for his birthday. He immediately put them on, and he has worn them every days since. Here is what he says about them, "These shoes are beautiful! Today alone multiple people stopped me to ask if I were wearing shoes or boots; I love the look that has the leather flap over the top so it looks like either. One friend said, “Your boots have that posh, Italian look that is popular.” I was impressed that the sole was sewn all the way through with old fashioned quality (as opposed to many shoes I purchase that appear to do so, but the shoes are—in reality—merely glued to the sole). I love that the leather is soft, pliable, and comfortable and that the soles are quiet when walking (I do not like shoes that “click” when I walk). The memory foam insole was extremely comfortable, and while the shoes were brand new did not give any discomfort after running various errands in them throughout the day. I did notice that, until I sealed them, when they got wet they quickly discolored."

These are great shoes from La Milano. The double monk strap is a real lasting fashion statement and these won't just be a fashion that will go away. The shoes fit just fine if you wear thin dress socks but I like to wear my thicker cotton socks so if you are like me, I suggest to go up a half size or full size for maximum comfort. The shoes look durable and I like the two tone brown color, especially at the tip. I'd buy these again but a larger size like I suggested. They are a pretty good value value for the price.

I will say first and foremost, I really like the shoe; they feel good on the feet and look so nice. They are clearly made very well and look nice.The picture on Amazon, does not shoe the true shoe color. I ordered the "brown" color, and they are significantly lighter than what the picture represents. I didn't dislike them, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. I decided to return them, and have am currently using Amazon wardrobe to try out some other shoes to hopefully get the color I am looking for.I would still highly recommend these shoes, but please keep in mind the color. If you are not looking for a specific color, (or plan to buy a belt after the shoes) then I would still say to go for it.

So these are my husbands 2nd pair of shoes from this company. When I say that shoe comfort is super important to my husband, that would be a huge understatement. So for years he wore “old man” shoes because comfort was more important than style. Then I came across these shoes and they have been a game changer, no more sacrificing style to have a comfortable shoe. My husband looks and feels good in these and he is on his feet all day. He has several dress shoes that he wears to work so he isn’t wearing the same pair everyday but on average he wears them 2-3 times in 7 days. I have to say too that I love the color way better in person than online, it’s slightly darker in person. Hopefully you can see that in the photos.

I get a lot of compliments on the shoes. Was tough to get on the first dozen of times or so as the elastics were really tight. There is blue cloth on the inside that have stained some of my socks but it comes out in the wash.

Usually in dress shoes I wear a 10.5. However, I followed the suggestions from other reviews and decided to go a size 11 and it fits almost perfectly. I say almost perfectly because they fit well if I am wearing slightly thicker dress socks. If I wear thin dress socks, then I can feel my feet moving around in them.Overall, I love the look and color fade of these shoes. The monk strap gives them an early 20th century British look. Almost like a more subtle "dapper" silhouette. And the the upper leather and sole are very comfortable. I specifically needed dress shoes that I can walk around in all day as a teacher and these work really well!
