Good with some cons:
I put 4 stars but it between 3 1/2 to 4 stars.Pro: Price, Camera, Monitor SizeCon: Manual, Wire Length, No Control over volume of speaker or mic and no volume control for doorbell. You have to speak loud for the other person to hear you.This is a 4 wire pin. Not 6 Wire Pin. The monitor supports 4 pin and 6 wire pin. The wire it comes with is 4 wire pin and is very short, probably 15 ft. I wished it said this in the description or manual as I would would have bought 6 wire pin extension. Due to this some of the buttons on the monitor are not supported. With the 4 wire it will do the basic as show outside, listen to surrounding and speak. The lock and unlock will also work if you hook it up. However the email option and another option called audio/video I guess for recording will not work since I am using 4 wire option.The manual is terrible. Does not fully explain how to connect. Which port is for unit 1 and so on. I figured out the port on the doorbell next to the lock port is the for the 1st unit. then the second port below is for the second unit and so on.The manual also did not state how to install the doorbell on the wall. I realized you have to remove the faceplate. There a screw below very tiny. Once you remove it . Then you screw the doorbell to the wall. Then put back the faceplate and the doorbell is set.Next mounting the monitor. You need slide the metal plates off. Screw the plate on the wall. Then slide the monitor back on.Regarding the camera. Quality is clear and gives you a wide look.Doorbell is lighted once connected.Doorbell has no volume controlNo Speaker volumeHard to hear other person unless they speak louder.
