for Amazon Echo Dot, Free Your Alexa Dot, POWRUI Silicone Protective Case Cover with Wireless Charger and Portable Power Bank for Amazon Dot (2nd Generation Only)

I got my echo dot as a gift. I don’t use it often, because it always needs to be plugged in to a outlet, Which is not convenient to move it around. And I have to be in different rooms when at home. I found this item which allows me to get my dot free from the outlet. Now I take it anywhere I go. I just subscribed to Amazon music, it’s perfect to use it this way.The only issue with this is the cable of the power bank is a little short, I understand it’s for good looking. But I first had problem connecting it to the dot. I later on figured out what to do. I took the power bank out of the case, it was very easy to do the connection and put it back into the case. I think it’s a good buy. Now I can enjoy more of the Alexa dot!

I bought this in January of this year so I could carry one of our Echo Dots out to the garage when working there. It seemed ideal for that purpose. Nice silicone base for the dot giving it a bit of protection. Wireless charging was OK. BUT ... now it's dead. Thought it was a bargain, as it was a bit cheaper then another one we had bought (not wireless - battery was charged via micro USB cable). You get what you pay for, as that other one still works (well over a year).

The concept of the device is excellent. The execution has a couple of problems. The biggest problem is the fact that if I leave the echo dotin the charger on the charging stand for more than a couple of days it dies completely and there is no charge left in the battery. It also does not recharge easily. I found that the only way for it to recharge is to remove the echo Dot from the device and then allow the device to sit on the charging stand for 24 hours. I am then able to plug in the Echo dot once again and it remains functional for some time while sitting on the charging plate or charging stand, but eventually if left once again on the charging stand it will completely discharge the battery.Problem 2 is the silicone cover holding the echo Dot has multiple perforations but the volume level of the Echo Dot Is diminished considerably when in the portable silicone sleeve or holder.Thus the overall rating of two stars because so frequently I find that the echo dot is not working because the battery has discharged even though it is on the charging stand.

I charged it like the directions said.Hooked it up and the battery died in 15 min of playing music.Then I have been trying to get a refund from amazon.Being I think o do buy a lot of things from thereI have yet to get one.They keep giving me the run around with UPS labels.I have done it multiple times (print then)Went to a UPS store and they have no clue what they are to do with the item being the label that prints out shows no information.

Ad sounded great so I purchased one. It worked great for a week, then got hot and would not hold a charge. I tried to return it and was offered a replacement instead. I tried that and had the same result. It worked for a while and died. Now the return window is closed. Buyer beware.

We love the small form factor (easy to carry) and the detachable base. Without the base, the cord easily falls to the ground when unplugged and we'd have to pick it up from the ground every time to plug it back in. Thank POWRUI this very important design feature, It is very convenient

My echo was cool before but it was a pain to bring out, plug in, etc.Now its AWESOME after i bought it, my DOT is free to roam now! It sets up very easy, and I’m able to grab it and go in another room with it very easily! It has a really nice wireless charging base, and one that you just set it on in any position (circular charging ring). This is exactly what I wanted.

It will die within 12 hours. The Echo Tap despite its shortfalls with always-listening turned on will last at least a day. I really don't like how much this heats up, even when full the charger keeps going I feel like, it's nearly hot enough to burn me. I've stopped using it.
