I went through the agony of using those Adhesive Clips. After a week, a month or a couple of months, the adhesives ALWAYS let go and not just from the mounting surface, but the clips themselves let go of the adhesive backing. Pure misery. These nail-down clips are a sure-fire way to keep your cables and wires attached securely.

The amount of clips that come in these packs is great. The size of the opening is good for more types of cables, and allowed for great cable management options. They hold pretty well into the walls and seem to be pretty good quality. I’ve router about 400 feet of cable in my house with them, and so far so good!
