Great Supplement.
I love lion's mane. It's one of those rare things - a hyped fad that might actually have some genuine long term benefits in terms of protection from cognitive decline. Listen to Paul Stamets on Joe Rogan for the lowdown. For me, the key indicator that I'm actually getting the real stuff is vivid dreams, and that's what I get with these. I'm convinced that's a sign of lion's mane working, my neural networks regenerating and new connections being made.Good packaging, easy to swallow, no aftertaste. All good.

Price is stella *****
The subtle shift in my concentration and memory since I started these Lion’s Mane capsules has been pretty N*I*C*E. It’s not a sudden jolt of energy, but rather a steady, clear-headed focus that’s made my daily routine feel smoother and more manageable. I appreciate that it supports cognitive function without any harsh side effects.

Easy to take , as the capsules can be separated for sprinkling
I usually prefer liquid supplements over pills and capsules as they are easier to take and they absorb better. These capsules are in fact very easy to take and in addition, they can be easily pulled apart and the Lion's mane contents added as a powder to a drink, or sprinkled on food items. What I Do Like is that the concentration is much higher at 2g of Lion's mane per capsule. Other supplements like this are often half this amount, so this is an added bonus. Plus, I get three months supply in this neat little container that can be posted through the letterbox.Lions mane is known to be an excellent natural mushroom that has some pretty amazing benefits for mental clarity, focus and concentration, due to the polyphenols withing the extract. I've been taking this supplement for some time now and it definitely works in this respect. This is a useful and handy product that is high in beneficial nutrients that can really boost brain power and concentration. It's a good price and appears to be aof good quality with independent testing and verification of quality. Recommended.

A good option for getting Lion's Mane
I've been using Lions Mane for a few months now, different shapes and sizes. I like the dosage of these ones, and the capsules make them easy to swallow in one go rather than having to make your own dose from the powdered form. I find that I sleep better, and am more able to concentrate when I'm working, especially when working early in the morning.

Wish I'd done my research!
After only a few days of taking one a day of these lion's mane capsules, I started itching all over, mostly my back and my scalp, but then arms and legs too. Eeek! Off I went to the University of YouTube and the Google Infirmary and found myself some fungi experts.Turns out that, yes, lion's mane can cause allergic reactions in some people - particularly if taken with other medications, e.g blood pressure meds, blood thinners, diabetes meds, to name a few. Of course, there is a disclaimer on the back of the pack about consulting your doctor before taking any supplements, but still!I then learned all about the different ways mushrooms are processed, what to look for in a good supplement. So, reading the label on these Pharmanostix ones, they're bulked out with rice flour. I also Googled their address. It's in the middle of Nottingham University campus. How odd! Then I looked at their website. Sketchy English. Hmmm...Then I searched for organic mushroom growers in the UK to get a ballpark figure of how much lion's mane supplements cost when they're all mushroom, no bulking agents. Let's put it this way: they're not a tenner. In summary, what is it they say? Caveat emptor: buyer beware!

Easy to take lions mane mushroom supplement
The capsules arrive in a sealed plastic container (with no recycling information for the container provided). As with all supplements you should do your own research on potential benefits and side effects before taking. The capsules had no noticeable taste and were reasonably easy to swallow. The capsules are vegan. At the recommended dose of one capsule per day this gives you about three months' supply. I do generally like to know more about the companies that produce supplements that I take. Whilst the company has a web site with a lot of information on it, it is very generic information without many specifics (e.g., where does the lions mane mushroom come from?) Whilst the company seems to be based at Nottingham University Ingenuity Lab, I doubt the products are made there. The label just says that the product is manufactured in the UK.
