Not as powerful as a standalone grinder but works well for the home where a lot of tough meats aren't ground up often. I use it to turn trimmings from brisket and other meats into hamburger meat. It works real good for that and meets my needs. I would recommend this for the home cooker. It is sturdy and fits on the KitchenAid stand mixer easily. For the money, this is an excellent buy. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a good home grinder.

I have used the grinder at least once a month since I bought it and I have no complaints. For the price, this grinder attachments feels like a commercial quality grinder. We’ve grinded beef, pork, chicken in it. Easy to clean as well.

Works very well it’s durable great design will take up a good part of the drawer so not small. Easy to remove all parts. Good value for money. They’re very durable.

This attachment fit our kitchen aid perfectly. It is durable and had held up well after several uses. It is easy to use and has given us amazing burgers with the fresh ground meat. The setup is quick and grinding the meat happens with quickness and ease. Great value, would definitely buy again!

Grinds beef and pork beautifully. Just make sure everything is super cold. Made our own ground beef and bulk sausage. Nice knowing what’s in your food. Solid construction. I do recommend.

We bought this to help prepare fillings when making dumplings and we don't expect to try making sausages. There are multiple disks for coarse, medium, and fine grinds of meat and vegetables. Choosing the right cutting disc wasn't very well defined and could have been better documented. We had no problems using the unit after I tightened all parts - no oozing through the threads or binding during use. You cannot turn the grinder shaft by hand when the cutting disc is tightened down properly so don't worry about that. All vital parts are strong metal but I can't say anything yet about durability, we've only had it a month.I would have given 5 stars if all parts were dishwasher safe, but the manual says otherwise. The included cleaning brush is a necessity and does the job.

Works amazingly well! I am making two briskets. Every time I see a YouTube video (shout out to HEYGRILLHEY), they say you can use the off-cuts of the brisket to make hamburger meat. So, on my third brisket, I finally broke down and bought this KitchenAid metal grinder attachment. Well, it is one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. The meat was so soft and fresh. I had never had non-processed ground beef before. The grinder works great. No hiccups or stoppages at all. All the metal pieces feel sturdy and well-made. There are three grinder sizes; choose the middle one for your hamburger meat. Overall, a great buy, and it's a real cut above in quality when making your own ground meat.

Works better tan advertised. Easy to clean, set up and operate. No more store bought ground beef or cubed steak.
